NEW DELHI: At least two persons were killed after a building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh‘s Barabanki on Monday early morning.
The incident took place around 3am.
Rescue operation is under way and a team of SDRF is at the spot. Three to four people are still feared trapped under debris.
“Around 3 am in the morning, we received information about a building collapse in Barabanki…We have rescued 12 people…we have got information that 3-4 people are likely still trapped under the debris,” reported ANI quoting Dinesh Kumar Singh, SP, Barabanki.
Singh added that among the 12 people who were rescued and hospitalised, 2 people died.
An NDRF will also arrive soon to join the rescue operation.
