The Ola S1 Air is already more affordable than all its direct rivals at its introductory pricing, however, the S1X will help attract even more buyers. Ola has confirmed that the S1X will be launched at a staggering starting price of under Rs 1 lakh! As of now, Ola Electric is the country’s top-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturer, posting a sale of 17,579 units in the month of June 2023.
What’s more, Ola Electric claims that the upcoming S1X will not only rival electric scooters in the country, but that it will be an ‘ICE killer’. Pricing for 125 cc petrol scooters in India goes up to somewhere around Rs 1 lakh – and that is where the Ola S1X will be positioned. It will be interesting to see if the S1X can actually put the money where the mouth is. As per the image revealed by the company, the S1X seems to feature a more bare-bones design over its siblings with some evident cost-cutting.

Range will play an important role for the Ola S1X, and we expect it to be around the 100 km mark considering that the S1 Air has a certified range of 125 km. The S1 Pro, on the other hand, offers a certified range of 181 km on one full charge, with prices starting from Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
