The Modi government is gearing up for the G20 Summit 2023, slated to be held in New Delhi from September 8 to September 10, 2023. The G20 Summit 2023 will see leaders from over 25 countries, such as Xi Jinping (President of China), Joe Biden (President of the US), and more. Keeping this in mind, Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, has decided to close offices, malls, and markets in Delhi from 8th to 10th September 2023.
For travel convenience of the guests around central Delhi, many cars are being arranged, according to various media reports. Multiple sources have indicated that luxury and bulletproof cars are in high demand. That said, we haven’t been able to confirm the number of cars and their cost yet.

Mercedes, Audi and BMW armoured cars might be used for the safety and travel convenience of the dignitaries. The Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard is an armoured vehicle with VR9-level protection. It gets underbody protection from several grenades, rifles and even land mines. The bulletproof luxury sedan costs around Rs 12 crore in India.
The Audi A8 L with an updated security version was released in Russia last year. Equipped with a shielded passenger compartment, the A8 L can easily defend against AK-47 bullets, grenades and mines that might be fired through the cabin. The Audi A8 L Security has certified VR9 ballistic protection and a substantial weight of 3,875 kg. The car cost Rs 9.15 crore in the Indian market.
Among the members of G20, only India, Australia, Japan, South Africa, and the UK will use RHD vehicles, suggest media reports.
