Exclusive! Sumbul Touqeer’s father to get married again – Times of India

We know about the strong bond that Sumbul Touqeer shares with her father Touqeer Khan. The Imlie actress, who was seen in Bigg Boss 16 a few months ago, has always appreciated her father and has spoken about how he raised his two daughters single-handedly. Now, Sumbul and her sister Saniya have convinced their father to settle down again. Touqeer Khan will get married to Nilofer, who is a divorcee with a daughter, next week.

Speaking about her father’s big day, Sumbul says, “We are very happy and looking forward to welcoming them into our family. Along with our father’s wife, a new sister will also join our family and we are extremely excited about it. Our father has been our greatest source of inspiration and support for the last many years. Saniya and I are very happy for him. Our bade papa Iqbal Hussain Khan (he was seen on Bigg Boss 16 during the family week) played an instrumental role in this marriage. I am grateful to him.”
The actress, who was last seen on Bigg Boss 16, has been in the news for her alleged fallout with Imlie co-actor and friend Fahmaan Khan. While Fahmaan in an interview told us that Sumbul and he would always remain friends, Sumbul, too, opened up about the speculations recently. When the paparazzi asked her about the ongoing tiff with Fahmaan, she said, “Nothing like that. Hum badhiya hain hamara badhiya chal raha hai.”
She will soon be seen in a single. Talking about it, she said, “The upcoming song is extremely special to my sister, dad, and me and we are working our best on it. The major reason why it is special is that Saniya and I have sung it. It is ready and we are waiting to shoot the video.”
