Hrithik Roshan is late to the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaaniparty but you know what they say about better than never. He watched Karan Johar’s latest offering and loved it – count Hrithik in among the legion of Rocky Aur Rani fans. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Vikram Vedha star shared a brief review as well as a plea for audiences to watch the film in theatres (newsflash Hrithik – many already have, helping the film fetch about Rs 150 crore so far and counting).
“Watched Rocky Aur Rani last night. Damn now that’s an Indian entertainer gone right. Totally loved the movie. The writing, performances, BGM, everything on point. Will watch this one again. Go watch it in theatres. This one is made for the big screen,” Hrithik Roshan wrote in his post, adding a heart emoji.
In the comments thread, one fan told him off: “Sir very late review, don’t be lazy in your job.” Let’s cut him some slack – Hrithik Roshan was in Argentina on vacation with girlfriend Saba Azad when Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani released. Other responses were just glad to have him resume film recommendations. “Critic Roshan is back, waiting for your Jawan review next,” wrote one fan. “Give better reviews than actual critics, the Critic Roshan,” wrote another. “Critic Roshan is back,” wrote a third. One response read simply: “Shahenshah has spoken.”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the title roles of Rocky and Rani which is a family drama set against a culture clash. The stacked cast includes Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.
Hrithik Roshan, meantime, has a big release next year in Fighter, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. He’s currently logging gym hours to work off the holiday weight gain (except it’s nothing like our holiday weight gain).
